Dr Amanda Samson
Amanda is the founder of UniConnected. She is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Education, University of Melbourne. Her expertise is in leadership education, engagement and partnerships. Prior to joining the Faculty, she worked in education consulting, professional development and executive search. Her research focuses on engagement between universities, students and industry partners, mentoring and leadership.
Andrew Nash
Andrew is a seasoned and dynamic global executive with more than thirty-five years of experience. He has worked in both public and private company as CEO, President and CXO. He is a former Global Partner in Big 4 consulting firms and has extensive leadership and operational experience throughout Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas.
Bassam Jalgha
Bassam has a rich CTO background with extensive experience in engineering management. His recent tenure as Entrepreneur in Residence at the American University of Beirut has honed his capability to mentor emerging tech leaders and translate academic innovations into market-ready products. He is also the Chief Technology Officer at Roadie Music, where he specialises in product development and engineering management.
Sam Gledhill
Sam has over 20 years of healthcare and health technology experience as well as over a decade working in the not-for-profit space. Starting his career as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, he quickly discovered a pasion for statistics and research. He has a Masters Degree in Statistics and MBA whic has allowed him to combine a passion for academic and clinical research with the nuance of leading great business decisions. He spent 11 years working for Movember where he established the digital health portfolio and more recently was working at Healthcare Data Analytics company Prospection as Head of Product and Data Management.
Dr Eduardo Oliviera
Eduardo is a Teaching Fellow at the School of Computing and Information Systems, University of Melbourne. His expertise is in the use of artificial intelligence to model and assist tertiary students in digital learning environments. His research focuses on the use of machine learning, natural language processing, smart learning environments and intelligent tutoring systems combined with models of self-regulated learning to support students’ journeys.
Suhrid Gupta
Suhrid is a technical lead at UniConnectED, and is responsible for its development and maintenance. His background is in full-stack development and cloud computing. He holds a Master of Computer Science degree at The University of Melbourne, with his research focusing on the use of machine learning models to improve the performance of edge computing autoscaling solutions.
Dr Jason Brown
Dr Jason Brown is an academic specialising in researching, teaching, and in designing and delivering impactful and scalable academic and co-curricular programs to support the development of student employability. Jason has over 20 years’ experience as a career development practitioner and leader in higher education, employment services, and corporate career services. With a PhD in higher education and organisational psychology he is an emerging expert globally on graduate employability. His published research, using both quantitative and qualitative research methods, is focused on the psychosocial factors that contribute to the development of employability.
